Walking by the board Duglaz spies something. He sees the post from the God of Rock. Tearing it down he reads it over a few times. “Oh that just won’t do. If you’re going to summon a god you gotta do it right.” He folds up the flyer and spends the rest of his time going around time. He stps at a butcher and asks about gallons of Pig blood. Following that he also goes around looking for anyone who has strobe lights or flash bangs. He starts to gather wood and in a secluded spot in the woods he sets up a massive pyre to be lit off. The rest of his time will be spent in caves looking for a particularly big and juicy bat. Yup Duglaz is full tilt going to not only follow the ritual to the letter hes going all out to impress the god. “Who better than me? I mean I am about 70% metal at this point.”

Kei is standing off to the side looking deeply unamuased. It’s such a ridiculously dangerous thing to do but really he can’t say he’s surprised that someone is willing to go this far. Since he’d been one of the people asked for lights and/or flashbangs he decided he’d come along for the sake of safety. When doing something so self-destructive it really was best to have a healer there just to be safe. He jad a feeling the god might fix the damage done themself but they wanted to be safe. Plus it’s just overall best to keep an eye on bigger things like this when possible.

Duglaz had went to great lengths to ensure this would go off right. After all it’s not metal if the forest burns down before the show is over. He had picked a large area and cleared it of all burnable debris. He carved into the dirt a pentagram for the blood to pool into once the show began. In the center he dug out a large hole for the fire wood to be piled into and lined it with rocks from the forest. He also made sure there was a way to keep the fire controlled just in case. He smiled that at least someone was watching him set up the stage.

“All this time I thought that degree in music of the old world was a poor choice to minor in when I went to school but I was raised on classic metal. Honestly this is the first choice I’ve made since I was freed of all restraints by my systems. For once I’m me and i get to choose what I do. And nothing had felt more right than this. I wanna be the acolyte of metal. I dont know why. It just feels perfect. I mean I’m mostly made of metal at this point. The gunslinger god meh. The machine god. No. I wanna keep what’s left of my human side. But the god of metal. I was born for this.”
